A whole host of travel tickets for travelling around the GMPTE area can be found on the GMPTE website and at System One Travelcards.

Description:

Unlimited off-peak travel for one day on all trains in the Greater Manchester area. It also extends to Buxton and Grindleford in Derbyshire as well as Macclesfield, Northwich, Warrington, Wigan, Chorley and Littleborough.

The ticket is also valid on Manchester Metrolink trams and buses with an even greater area of validity.

East Midlands Trains, TransPennine Express, CrossCountry, Northern Rail, Virgin Trains

Information:

Mondays to Fridays the day ticket is not valid until 09.30 on trams and trains.
There are no restrictions at weekends and bank holidays or on buses.
