The Caledonian Sleeper now has BRAND NEW TRAINS!
The Caledonian Sleeper runs overnight every night except Saturday nights in both directions between London Euston and Scotland on the lines to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William calling at many of the intermediate stations including Stirling, Perth, Aviemore, Dundee and Stonehaven.
The Caledonian Sleeper has two trains in each direction "The Lowlander" to/from Glasgow and Edinburgh which splits at Carstairs and "The Highlander" which splits at Edinburgh, one portion going forward to Aberdeen, one to Inverness and the other to Fort William - the reverse occurs in the opposite direction.

Ticket Types:
Two types of tickets are available on the Caledonian Sleeper, Flexible and Fixed Advance:Flexible are fully refundable, with no administration fee if requested by 12 Noon two days before your scheduled arrival time at your destination. They are available for Caledonian Double, Club and Classic rooms.
Fixed Advance offer the best value fares. Changes, refunds or upgrades are not permitted. They are available for Club and Classic rooms
Tickets for the Caledonian Sleeper can be booked up to 12 months in advance and are only available for single journeys, for a return you should purchase two singles. Children (5-15) travel for half the adult price.
Railcard discounts are available on the purchase of Caledonian Sleeper rooms but note that although railcard discounts are available on national rail Anytime / Off-Peak / Super Off-Peak tickets for travel in seated accommodation they do not apply to berth supplements.
Berth supplements can be purchased if you already hold a ticket for daytime travel like an anytime or off-peak ticket or an all-line rail rover. You can then purchase a Caledonian Sleeper room supplement, holders of standard class tickets can only purchase a Classic Room supplement. Holders of a 1st class daytime ticket or a 1st class all line rail rover can purchase a Club or Classic Room supplement.
Bikes are conveyed free of charge (one per person) if booked in advance.
Pets up to a maximum of two are allowed and travel free subject to a £30 cleaning charge. Pets are not allowed in the seated accommodation or in the club car. Assistance dogs travel for free.
Disabilities: "Guests" with disabilities are asked to advise Caledonian Sleeper in advance of travel so that special arrangements can be made to make your journey as enjoyable as possible.
