The "All Line Rail Rover" is the "daddy of them all" and covers the whole network (mostly). It is available for either 7 or 14 consecutive days and is the only rail rover offering both standard and first class options.Train Operating Company Restrictions:
Rather than highlight where you can go it is simpler to state where you cannot go - it is NOT VALID on the following:Eurostar, Heathrow Express, Heathrow Connect between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow, Docklands Light Railway, London Underground, all local metro tram systems, shipping services or on any of the private railways except for the Ffestiniog Railway.
Information:
The ALR is valid anytime except for the restrictions outlined in the column on the right.It is valid on Grand Central, Hull Trains and on the Ffestiniog Railway.
It is valid on both the Caledonian and Great Western Sleepers - in the seated sections a reservation is compulsory on the Caledonian and advisory on the Great Western, if you travel in a sleeper berth you must pay the appropriate supplement.
The first class ticket allows access to any complimentary offers that you would be entitled to with an ordinary first class ticket, such as drinks and meals.
*Railcard discounts apply to 16-25 and Family & Friends railcard holders in standard class only and to Disabled, HM Forces and Senior railcard holders in both standard and first class.
Family & Friends railcard holders must be accompanied by a child for which the fares are 7-day £85.50 and 14-day £129.20.
HM Forces railcard holders can take children with them if they wish but it is not compulsory, the standard class fares are as for Family & Friends above and first class fares are 7-day £129.20 and 14-day £197.60.
