It covers the whole of south Wales and extends as far north as Shrewsbury and east to Gloucester.

It is also valid on First South and West Wales, Cardiff Bus, Arriva Cymru and Stagecoach South Wales bus services in the area and many that extend outside the area. Bus travel and other discounted facilities are available on any day in the chosen period, even if that day is not selected for rail travel.

The Dean Forest Railway and Gwili Railway may offer discounts, you will need to contact them for details.

The Explore South Wales Pass allows travel from Gloucester through Cardiff and Swansea to the ports of Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven and Fishguard Harbour in south west Wales.

All the Welsh valley lines are included and the whole of the Central Wales Line between Swansea, Llanelli and Shrewsbury and the Marches Line between Newport and Shrewsbury via Hereford.
